Raha Ramadan and Eid Events
Donation protected
Assalamualaykum! Despite being in the midst of a pandemic we still want to keep up the spirit of community during the holy month of Ramadan. Many families rely on meals provided by the masjids (mosques) for Iftar but due to our current situation, those meals are no longer available. The goal of our group is to provide meals to those who heavily relied on the masjid Iftars and show what the true meaning of community is during such an isolating time.
The money we want to raise will go towards buying food and packaging for these meals. We also intend on expanding this project to not only Ramadan meals but also to Eid gift packages for children while they have to cope with such troubling times. If you are willing to donate any of these items below please let us know through email. ([email redacted])
Supplies:
Packaging for food - ( about 75 containers )
Tin trays - ( about 5 trays )
Paper bags - ( about 75 bags )
Rubber gloves - ( 20 or more )
Food- an estimate of the following:
3 Bags of rice
2 Cases of water bottles
10 Cases of hummus
Salad
Bread
Disclaimer: We will be practicing proper hygiene and safety measures while participating in this project
