Frankie's Fight Against Lupus

My daughter, Frankie was diagnosed with Lupus SLE in March of 2013. She was 16 years old at the time. That day dramatically changed our lives. She was a competive cheerleader and a honor roll student.
She has been hospitalized a numerous amount of times since she has been diagnosed. She also has Stage 5 Lupus Nephritis amongst other things. That means Lupus is causing a substantial amount of damage to her kidneys. She is taking a lot of medication and also just finished her last infusion of chemotherapy a little over a month ago.
Frankie is a fighter. She refuses to let Lupus get her down. She tries her best to live a "normal" teenage life. She is still attending college. They work with her so she can keep her grades up. She tried working but she was missing too many days due to her chronic illness.
Frankie also helps children in her community. She volunteers as an assistant coach for a pop warner and high school cheer team. She also has a contest every year for children doing positive things and receiving good grades. The winners receives a $500 shopping spree. She started this when she was 15 years old with her own money. She loves helping people. Now she needs help.
I have ran I to some financial hardships. We have to travel to UCSF for her medical visits. Having a chronic illness is expensive and stressful. We will appreciate any amount. Thank you.
