On Saturday night, April 2nd, Dave Stewart was riding his bike home from work and was hit by a vehicle. My name is Brian, and my friends, Jenna, Emily, Jared and I were the first on the scene to help Dave. Dave was seriously injured and we weren't sure if he was going to be okay. Dave was taken to Genesis East and then transferred to Uni. of Iowa Hospitals. He had multiple skull fractures, a dislocated jaw and blood in his lungs. It's hard to believe, but he's home now! Even though he's home, he still needs help. He needs to maintain his home, pay hospital bills, along with other bills; we aren't sure when he will go back to work. My friends and I would like to start this page to help Dave in any way we can. It's hard to believe that someone would hit him and just drive away. We want to help make things alittle better for Dave by providing this financial support during this traumatic time. We would appreciate more than you know any amount you can give to help Dave.
