An Ocean of Bees
Don, aka Cap't Jack Spot, a native Bellevilleian and growing up in California had been a life long lover of the ocean. In his mid years, yearning to live his life on his own terms, Don sold the landlubber dream he accrued over his life and took the seas.
He saw first hand the eco devastation our modern world is having on the oceans. This awakened a deep calling in him to make a difference. Little did he know then that fate had one for him as well. He lost both his first and second boats to storms, storms that had become worse in the Pacific over the years due to climate change.
He moved to Illinois to be near his father's family. Being on forest land, living back closer to woodlands Don began to see the beauty of the trees and flowers. There was one thing missing, BEES. He had to search for days before he saw a real N. American honey bee. He had heard about colony collapse disorder but until he saw it close up, it had not really hit home.
That is when it all came together in a flash. It all made sense to him now. Losing the boat, moving to Illinois, living near woods. He knew what he could BEE a difference BEE a part of the solution BEES are the contribution he is to make.
He began to research the winter months away. He has a plan, he has a mentor. He needs your help. Help Don aka Cap't Jack need your help the bees be here tomorrow.
Throughout North America, bees are disappearing. This is a concern for everyone who eats: bees are responsible for one out of every three mouthfuls of our food. I'm Don and I'm seeking funding for A new start up, A Honey Bee Farm here in Southern Illinois . It is something I have been Called upon and now that I'm not getting any younger and unable to do my everyday work ( Home Builder) the time has come to get off the fence! However with Home Building not being what is was I find myself in a Financial bind and could really use some help from you! Honey Bee's are an essential part of our Eco system as well as producers of an amazing food sourse, Honey!
