Support Nugget's Fight Against FIP

Nugget was recently diagnosed with FIP, Feline infectious peritonitis, a serious and often fatal viral disease that affects cats. Until recently, this was considered a death sentence for cats. With a successful course of GS-441524 over 84 days, we hope to cure Nugget of this horrible disease.

We are needing help funding this medication and appreciate any support you can give.

Treatment & Timeline:

During the treatment Nugget will be given a daily injection of GS-441524, "GS for short, everyday for 84 days. Once completed he will then begin an 84 day observation period in order to monitor symptoms and blood tests and to ensure no relapse. Should all go well and no additional treatments are needed Nugget will be back to his happy and healthy self by Christmas 2024! Throughout this process Nugget will receive blood work every 4 weeks to ensure we are giving him the correct dosages and no adjustments need to be made to treatment.

-$1,965 - GS-441524 Treatment ($116 per vial)

-$1,000 - Total Blood Tests ($160 per test)

-$400 - Additional Medications to help with pain and improve organ function (Decameron, Mipirocin, Varenzin-CA1, Gabapentin, etc.)
