EYE need your help.

In October 2013, I had to have my left eye removed, then I had to have an artificial eye fitted due to an untreatable eye condition I had since birth.

However, the artificial eye that I have at this present time has been causing me a lot of pain and trouble.

So today, the 4th of March 2015, I saw John Pacey-Lowrie, who is a specialist in making artificial eyes. He explained to me that the eye I currently have is ill fitting, plus many other problems. These problems are due to the fact that my last consultant didn't do her job properly. (I don't want to sound horrible, but even others have commented about this — even some health professionals.)

John has gave me a lot of hope and excitement as he will be able to give me an eye that will fit better, feel better, look better and most importantly it will not cause me any pain! (I don't think I've been pain free since 2008!)

Unfortunately the cost for this eye is £1,700.

I feel embarrassed and pathetic and I'm soooooooooo sorry for having to ask for money, but I'm desperate to get this new eye! It will change my life.
