NTX Coronavirus Co-Op Donation Drive
The North Texas Coronavirus Co-Op is partnering with a nonprofit in the Metroplex to assist 75 underserved families in southern Dallas and Fort Worth. We encourage everyone to lend a helping hand where they have influence, and this is ours.
Lone Star Human Services Inc. serves socio-economically disadvantaged individuals and families in the DFW area. Together, we will assemble cleaning and medical care packages to support these families as they ride out the COVID19 pandemic in their homes.
Many of these families do not have access to cars, and so they are limited in how far they can go to seek these basic care items. If a store runs out of an item, they may be out of luck, if they are able to afford them at all.
The cleaning supplies will allow these families to keep their homes clean to fight the spread of infection. The basic medicine package will allow families to treat any minor ailments at home without subjecting themselves to possible coronavirus exposure outside. And should anyone be infected by the virus, the medicine will also help treat symptoms associated with COVID19.
The $2,800 fundraising goal goes toward these items listed below. In addition to the fundraising drive, we will have a resource drive to collect excess items that families might have on hand.
Cleaning Package

- Paper towels
- Spray bottles (for disinfectant)
- Household disinfectant
Medicine Package
- Tylenol cough and cold
- Gauze
- Disinfectant / antibiotic ointment
- Medical tape
- Tissues
Money not spent on the above items will go toward individual gift cards for the families to further enable them to navigate this pandemic.
Gifts are tax-deductible through Lone Star Human Services Inc. A donor has also generously agreed to match donations up to $1,000!
