Welcome to the Laurel Community Home Club, a club owned by the community. Created in 1922 by three community members it has grown to over several hundred community members through 95 years of existence. The Hall began as a meeting place outside of the city limits in the unincorporated Farm Zoning. What the current community was given back in 1923 is where we are ready to start again. With your help, we will continue to have a thriving Laurel Social Hall, that brings the community together. Farm meetings, dances, potlucks were conveniently held here. Laurel began as a farming community that has grown and changed through the years. Some families are 7 generations and some are first generation. Despite the changes in our lives, we are a community who takes care of our neighbors.

When the school was open, the hall basement was used as an extra classroom, and upstairs there is still a basketball hoop and places where the volleyball net was tied.

The dance club has been using the hall for 41 years, many of our children currently attend the classes. Thanks to the Ladies of Laurel community dances have made a reappearance in our social life. The young families planned a movie night with young children with much success and we continue to rent the hall out to meet the needs to our community and others.

Imagine a new stage for performances, along with new paint, mirrors and flooring refinished. Imagine bathrooms with heat and hot water a revamped kitchen where guests could meet the needs of their parties. This Hall has so much history from previous generations and we want to continue to welcome many more.

After many years the wear and tear on the Hall have taken its course. Here is where you come in our vision is to remodel the Hall to in the next five years, starting now. Our vision is to keep the Hall as part of our history for the next 100 years.

We have 3 separate phases to the remodel. We will post all three phases in the upcoming weeks!

Thank you!!!!
