Water for the Nowhere Children

THE NOWHERE SCHOOLS NEED FRESH DRINKING WATER NOW!









The Village School at 

Tnine Ida Ou Zemzem, Morocco

is one of several currently in IMMEDIATE need of funds to purchase TWO MORE water tanks to provide fresh drinkable water for the children there.


PLEASE HELP US TO BRING CLEAN WATER TO THE KIDS IN THE NOWHERE in MOROCCO.
 

"Teacher I'm thirsty." 

"Teacher I need some water." 


Moroccan teachers say these are the most common sentences in the nowhere schools. Many village schools in the nowhere of the moutain villages of Morocco suffer from the lack of clean water for kids as well as teachers.



2 water tanks have been already purchased with your donations. Big thanks to all who donated. Unfortunately, they still weren't enough to fill the needs of these children and families. 


We are kindly asking you to

please donate anything you can

to help us purchase more water tanks to provide the clean water needed for these kids.




1 water tank costs just 80€ 
(approx $89 United States Dollars) + a bit extra for transportation, 

...but for these children that small cost is everything. It is thirst quenched, health, safety, and an opportunity for education with less time spent walking long distances in search of and transporting clean water for themselves and their families. 


 

Many of us have spent that much on:

~  a nice meal out or two
~  a pair of sneakers
~  an good face cream
~  a video game
~  fancy perfume
~  a cashmere sweater
~  or dinner & a movie

any of these could have funded an entire water tank (nearly half our goal!) --  and we are simply asking people to reach into their hearts and donate whatever they can, maybe the equivalent of a fancy coffee, or a cheap movie ticket, even just spare change so that TOGETHER we can get these tanks FUNDED. 


WE WOULD REALLY  LOVE  TO MAKE THIS HAPPEN FOR THESE KIDS BY CHRISTMAS IF POSSIBLE.


There is also always a need for funds for blankets, clothing, food, and school supplies for these children and families, but the immediate and urgent need is for these fresh water tanks.
