Nova Scotia Hospitality

Donation protected
We are hosting a live stream from Durty Nelly’s Irish Pub, in Halifax on Sunday January 1st, 2021 at 3:00pm. New Years Day is often a Canadian tradition celebrated as a levee which in Halifax, often is celebrated by Hospitality Staff to blow off some steam after a busy holiday season. Since hospitality has taken such a hit this year, and especially as this second wave is upon us, we wanted to do something to give back and celebrate our wonderful community. We held a similar event in early December which we raised almost $20,000 that is to be distributed via the Bartenders Benevolent Fund directly to hospitality staff in Nova Scotia. January and February are often a slow season for our industry but with COVID-19 shutdowns over Christmas this leaves many people in a dire financial situation at the worst time of year.

This event will be live streamed from the pub and viewed via our face book page. Our local performers Tyler Key, Michael Lloyd and Leith Fleming-Smith featuring a very special guest who all have enormous followings within the city and have performed internationally. Their followings plus our 15,000 Facebook followers, plus our sister restaurants following, this event is bound to reach hundreds of people in the province and wider.
