Norwich soup movement universal edit food bank

My names Darren I’m trying to help this food bank that have helped us at our darkest times they have been broken into money and food taken and will have to close let’s raise them some money to stop this precious community helping place open below is statement by the admin

Morning my loves.

We've had a bad few weeks of illnesses, bereavements, and now a break in at our unit. Obviously this has left us all very shaken up and pretty upset. We've had money taken and there's little food left. I'm very sorry, but foodbank will not be operating until we are back on our feet. We've always said that we can only run foodbank while there's enough money to do so, and that our soup run service has to come first. Of course this isn't what we want and it's not a permanent thing. I hope we will be back with full shelves before December.

Thank you for your understanding, and I'm so so sorry for the patchy service this year, it's been fucken terrible. If anyone is struggling to the point that they literally have no food in the house, please look up other foodbanks in the area. I'm hoping to be back mid-late next week, and I might be able to scrape a couple of emergency parcels together, but it's real slim pickings!
