Citizens of Northumberland County Supporting Ukrainian Orphanages
Organized by Vinny Clausi, former Northumberland County Commissioner
In conjunction with Pastor Mykola Ivanov, of the Transfiguration of Our Lord Ukrainian Catholic Church
The mission:
- Raise cash funds for the overwhelmed orphanages in the Ukrainian city of Lviv.
The method:
- Request $5+ individual donations through a Go Fund Me page
- Request business donations via check payable to "Northumberland Citizens for a Cause"
The goal:
- Approximately 35,000 households in our County
- Raise $5 per household = $175,000
- Additional business donations
- The minimum goal of $100,000
The results:
- Vinny Clausi and Pastor Mykola Ivanov will personally present the total collected donations at the Poland-Ukraine border to officials in charge of orphanages in Ivanov’s home city of Lviv.
