North West, Scrubs for our NHS front liners

Hi everyone,
A HUGE THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO HAS DONATED!!! Between this fundraiser, donations from Williams F1 £2400 and Weaves & Waves of Wigan £1000, we have now raised a massive £6911 for Wigan Scrub Hub with a further £500 funding confirmed from Spectrum Health in Wigan today too!
We now have a contact at the council who is looking at securing even more funding and we are speaking to local MP’s for support too.
Thanks so much to Pincroft Dying and Printing in Adlington who have donated more fabric that we are hoping to get out to you all next week.
We currently have a team of nearly 100 volunteers including our team of delivery drivers all working towards getting our 1000 orders completed and out to the front line.
So far over 400 orders are out to frontline staff, so we are hoping to smash through the outstanding requests over the next few weeks and be able to reopen orders to other frontline staff who need scrubs too as soon as possible!
We are now able to reopen fundraising on the GoFundMe page as we have finally had confirmation that these funds will be released to us next week.
I would just like to take this moment to say thank you again to all volunteers who are part of this process; Donators, Seamstresses, Delivery drivers, Administration and our NHS FRONT LINERS !!! X x
