Norm's Cancer Treatment Fund

Hello, My husband Scott and I are close friends of Norm and Cindy Potvin. We have served along side them as volunteers in Georgia State Parks for a number of years now. Norm is a husband father, grandfather, great grandfather and US Army veteran. An avid outdoorsman, both a hunter and an angler. Always active and healthy. We have gotten to know their close-knit, fun loving family. Norm was diagnosed with cancer in September. The location of a tumor caused a blockage that required surgery. The first surgery was completely botched so a second was needed to bypass that mess. He has chronic gastro problems since the surgeries. He is getting little to no nutrition from the food he eats. The extra powerful chemo treatments to shrink the tumor in his stomach are taking his life from him. There is concern that his organs are being damaged. His weight back in October was 208 lbs now down to 143 lbs. His blood work went from showing no signs of cancer to the very worst. He is now hoping to receive alternative treatment not covered by the VA. There are several alternative protocols like hyperbaric oxygen that he could benefit from and get back to enjoying a good quality of life with his wife Cindy, family and friends. No donation is too small.
