Nomi’s Surgery.

Our daughter A’nomi Pannell is the greatest gift we have received, and we are so very grateful for her coming into our lives. Unfortunately my husband and I, had tried having a child before which resulted in us having a miscarriage, so she is our rainbow baby. When we found out we were pregnant, we were so happy and eager to make sure I carried her the entire 40 weeks. I carried my daughter for 39 weeks, which is a blessing within itself because mothers carrying a baby with this diformity usually have them early. Our daughter was born with a rare condition called an omphalocele, which is when her intestines and liver are growing outside of her body, and in some cases they can be really small, but in her case she has one of the more larger ones. She was born October 9th, and has been in the Nicu from that very first day. She’s had a lot of ups and downs getting intubated and extubated already multiple times, to her having PICC line in and it brushing against her heart causing her heart rate to jump to the 230’s, and having to receive a blood transfusion at only 1 month old. Things have been an emotional wreck for us, and she will require surgery to place things back in place once she’s older (6months-1year old). We’re asking that you donate whatever you can to help pay for her surgery. A little goes a long way. My sweet girl is in the hospital everyday fighting for her life.
