Noah’s RAWR- the good heard around the world

In honor of Noah Alexander Riley,

 

As so many of you know our sweet baby boy went to be with Jesus on his birthday January 22, 2021 due to complications at birth.

That day will forever remain the most painfully beautiful day of our life. Earth shattering.

Noah was born in complete perfection. My husband and I were able to spend 2 whole days soaking him in as every parent should have the opportunity to. Unfortunately this is not always the case.

The day we had Noah the sweet nurse I had brought in a cuddle cot. So what is a Cuddle Cot? For those not familiar, a Cuddle Cot is an in-room cooling unit that is the size of a small humidifier that is disguised inside a bassinet or Moses basket. A Cuddle Cot gives families the gift of time, allowing for their precious babies to be at their bedside during their hospital stay. This special device made a way for us to be able to make memories that have helped us bond, cope, and continue to heal. This should be routine. But it is not.

As I held my son I looked over at this device that looked like a normal bassinet and I saw a plaque with another babies name on it. I realized then that I was not alone. I realized then that there was hope and that good could somehow come out of this dark hole.

From the first moment I felt Noah kick and heard his heart I knew there was goodness in him. I knew he would bring good to others. He reminds me daily of his father. I believe in my heart that goodness was meant to live here with us.

In Noah’s name for his birthday this year My husband and I would love to raise money for the next month to be able to offer a cuddle cot to a hospital who is unable to fund this device.

Noah will never be forgotten. Even on this earth I believe his life will have legacy and purpose. If you feel drawn to help us with this or even to help share it, thank you could never be enough.
