The fight against racial injustice is relentless, and today, we stand at a critical juncture. Last September, our Director of Racial Profiling, Alain Babineau, courageously spoke out against an offensive BLACKFACE imagery, standing firm in defence of community dignity and respect.
Unfortunately, his brave stance has resulted in a $26,000 defamation lawsuit by the artist. This lawsuit has burdened Alain and his family, draining their emotional and financial resources.

Notre directeur du profilage racial, Alain Babineau, a courageusement dénoncé la représentation offensive d'une image Visage Noir (BLACKFACE), en défendant avec fermeté la dignité et le respect de la communauté.
Malheureusement, sa position courageuse a entraîné un procès de diffamation d'un montant de 50 000 dollars par l’artiste. Cette poursuite pèse très lourdement sur Alain et sa famille et épuise leurs ressources émotionnelles et financières.
