There are plans to build a privately owned 41 acre LCID Landfill on 
NC Highway 8 / Germanton Road

LCID stands for Land Clearing and Inert Debris

The proposed location for this landfill is in the middle of two residential neighborhoods, Emorywood and Haven Forest, and the entrance is beside and across from several homes directly on Germanton Road

We are asking for your support to help defeat this proposed landfill when it comes before the Forsyth County Board of Commissioners

We are raising funds to pay for attorney and expert fees to help us fight this landfill project.  We will also use some of the funds for yard signs and other media costs.

The hearing for this landfill in front of The Forsyth County Commissioners has been postponed until sometime this summer so time is of the essence.
