Funeral expenses

My name is Shaquita Ray. Today on February 17, 2023 at 3:17am, I lost the love of my life, my soulmate, my prayer partner and my best friend. He was so many things to me words can't explain. He was my person. He was the only one who truly understood me and all my flaws and he loved me and then unconditionally.

We did everything together. My life will forever be changed. I will never ever be the same! My Lord, how this hurts!

Raymond Ray Jr loved The Lord and me with his ENTIRE heart. I am so grateful to have shared 31 years of my life with him since the age of 16. He was all I knew and all I ever wanted. He had such a big presence and a deep booming voice that he used to mentor to at risk youth, teach vacation bible school, sing in the men's choir and Inspirational choirs at our church homes in Hammond, Indiana and in Tampa, Florida.

He always had a joke, an encouraging word or testimony to share. His smile lit up any room he was in. His very presence commanded attention and admiration.

I not only loved him but I also respected and cherished him. I am so grateful to have been blessed with such an extraordinary husband. He is so worthy of the many tears that I cry. He loved me beyond the realms of time and beyond our earthly home. It is my duty to lay Raymond to rest in the manner he deserves.

We were never able to afford life insurance on our fixed income.
