I am now attending the Southern California University Health Sciences, studying Chiropractic. 3 months ago I woke up at 2 in the morning after having a dream about doing everything I can to help those less fortunate than myself. Since then, I've been extremely motivated to find an opportunity where I can provide care for those who have almost nothing.
I'm excited to announce that i've been given the opportunity to volunteer my skills in Bolivia. From August 11-20th I will be volunteering at a Chiropractic clinic in Cochabamba, Bolivia. The opportunity is provided by the Rotary club and Clinic Quiropractica Firestone.
The Southern California University of Health Sciences is organizing a trip to Bolivia to provide service to underprivileged people. Our mission is to provide care for those who have little or no access to healthcare. We will treat 2000-5000 patients at health clinics and orphanages. Typically there are hour long lineups before the clinics open and everything is done free of charge.
My goal is to raise $3000, $2500 which goes to accommodations and travel. Anything above this will go directly to the local clinic and rotary club.
