Those that know the Gatlin family has witnessed what this family has been through. Katina, now a single mother recently lost her husband on June 11, 2018.
Now, this family needs your help, prayers, and support for Princess Ta'Niyah Sha'Nae Gatlin. She was born 1/30/2013 and was primarily diagnosed with Cogenital TTP in March of 2014.
For years, she usually has to get Plasma transfusions (and has to be premeditated with 4 different medications before in order to prevent an allergic reaction) monthly so on Monday 1/7/19, she went in for a routine treatment, fever and sore throat but was hospitalized due to her lab findings showing that her platelets were extremely low.
She was then placed on a ventilator on Wednesday 1/9/19 after receiving multiple transfusions and having complications thought to be a result of FFP (fresh frozen plasma) transfusions.
On 1/10/19 Ta'Niyah was placed on ECMO due to respiratory failure and a collapsed left lung. Doctors have diagnosed her with Congenital Thrombotic Thrombocytopenia Purpura.
Being a single mother is not easy and the emotional stress, financial stress, hospital bills, at-home bills, food, parking, travel etc can become costly. This fund is to solely relieve them of the financial burden as much as possible. We ask that you please keep Ta'Niyah, her mother Katina and family in your prayers.
