Nurturing Nina Through Her Journey

As most of you already know, I'm battling breast cancer. Although I get my mamograms every year, the tumor was found by me! It did Not show up in the mamogram... not even in the 3D version.

 I have Stage 2, Grade 3 cancer, and the type of cancer is aggressive.

I had a lumpectomy and am now undergoing Chemotherapy through August 29th.  Due to the aggessive nature of this cancer, I will also have to have a double mastectomy. Then 30 treatments of Radiation.

In addition, the gene I carry is also linked to Ovarian Cancer.  There is a 40% chance of that occurance.  So, I also need surgery to remove my ovaries.

There is a long road ahead of me filled with physical, mental and financial challenges.

 Yet I know I will be ok... because of ALL of You!  I am overwhelmed with the love that keeps coming my way! The heartfelt care and support I've been receiving is beyond a blessing!!!
