Nina & Yair are praying for a miracle through IVF

Loss, Grief, and heartache, are some of the emotions the Ramirez family has been feeling for the past four years.

My name is Stephany Velez, Yair's younger sister. I'm graciously creating this Go Fund me for Nina & Yair Ramirez.

As most of you may know, Nina unexpectedly stillborn her second son, Kevin, on Oct 1st, 2019. She was 32 weeks along, carrying a healthy baby throughout her pregnancy.

Losing baby Kevin has been the hardest, unimaginable burden this family has been living with every day since. I still remember my nephew, Noah, their firstborn, who is now seven years old, and was four years old at the time, asking about baby Kevin and questioning why he had to go to heaven. As an aunt, it breaks my heart that someone so young has to learn about death and experience the loss of a loved one so soon.

Nina and Yair have been trying to continue to grow their family since then and have been challenged with infertility due to Nina's endometriosis, a painful and incurable disease. Nina has struggled with this for much of her life. Leading to the inability to conceive, Nina had two Laparoscopic surgeries within the past few months in hopes that it would be the answer to a healthy, natural pregnancy. After her most recent surgery, she was given upsetting and discouraging news. Her Dr. stated that her fallopian tubes and ovaries have attached to her uterus from adhesions and scar tissue. Because of that, a natural pregnancy will be an uphill challenge and most likely not be possible. Her Dr. stated that IVF would be the only way to grow their family. As you can imagine, this news wasn't what they expected as their hearts were lifted with hope from the two surgeries Nina had undergone. But again, the hopes of becoming parents once more were overshadowed. Shortly after, they began to feel overwhelmed. A rollercoaster of emotions arose, to say the least, they didn't know much about IVF, and as they consulted with a specialist, they learned that it was expensive! Their insurance does not cover any of the costs, unfortunately.

With Faith and Hope, and an incredible team of confident Doctors, Nina and Yair have started this IVF journey. With all your love and support, I know this will give them hope and encouragement. Along with relief from the financial burden that this journey will entail. Current medical bills, $39,080 for IVF:

May they rest in the promises over their lives. I ask for protection for their relationship; may they cleave together and rely on each other for strength during this journey. Pérdida, duelo y angustia son algunas de las emociones que la familia Ramírez ha estado sintiendo durante los últimos cuatro años.

Mi nombre es Stephany Velez, la hermana menor de Yair. Estoy creando gentilmente este Go Fund me para Nina y Yair Ramirez.

Como la mayoría de ustedes sabrá o para los que no sepan, Nina inesperadamente dio a luz a su segundo hijo, Kevin, el 1 de octubre de 2019. Tenía 32 semanas y llevaba un bebé sano durante todo el embarazo.

Perder al bebé Kevin ha sido la carga más dura e inimaginable con la que esta familia ha estado viviendo todos los días desde entonces. Todavía recuerdo a mi sobrino, Noah, su primogénito, que ahora tiene siete años y tenía cuatro en ese momento, preguntando por el bebé Kevin y preguntándose por qué tenía que ir al cielo. Como tía, me rompe el corazón que alguien tan joven tenga que aprender sobre la muerte y experimentar la pérdida de un ser querido tan pronto.

Nina y Yair han estado tratando de hacer crecer su familia desde entonces y se han enfrentado a problemas de infertilidad debido a la endometriosis de Nina, una enfermedad dolorosa e incurable. Nina ha luchado con esto durante gran parte de su vida. Como consecuencia de la incapacidad para concebir, Nina se sometió a dos cirugías laparoscópicas en los últimos meses con la esperanza de que fuera la respuesta a un embarazo saludable y natural. Después de su cirugía más reciente, recibió noticias inquietantes y desalentadoras. Su doctor dijo que sus trompas de Falopio y ovarios se han adherido a su útero debido a adherencias y tejido cicatricial. Por eso, un embarazo natural será un desafío y lo más probable es que no sea posible. Su Dr. declaró que la Fecundacion in Vitro (FIV) sería la única forma de hacer crecer a su familia. Como se puede imaginar, esta noticia no fue lo que esperaban ya que sus corazones estaban llenos de esperanza por las dos cirugías a las que se había sometido Nina. Pero nuevamente, las esperanzas de volver a ser padres se vieron ensombrecidas. Poco después, comenzaron a sentirse abrumados. Surgió una montaña rusa de emociones, por decir lo menos, no sabían mucho sobre FIV, y al consultar con un especialista, ¡se enteraron de que era caro! Desafortunadamente, su seguro no cubre ninguno de los costos.

Con Fe y Esperanza, y un increíble equipo de doctores confiados, Nina y Yair han comenzado este viaje de FIV. Con todo su amor y apoyo, sé que esto les dará esperanza y aliento. Junto con el alivio de la carga financiera que implicará este viaje. Facturas médicas actuales, $39,080 por FIV:
