17 year old Nick Liddy who plays for Continental FC Delco Acedemy in the US Development Academy was on I-95 in a car driving towards Philadelphia when a drunk driver caused a truck to smash into the car he was in. Nick is currently in the hospital now for several days unconscious with a jaw broken in 3 spots, major head trauma, and currently on a breathing tube. Nick is making strides. He has been off of the breathing machine since Thursday 12/7, and has been breathing on his own. The Respiratory Therapist said it is nothing short of a miracle. He has purposeful movement , which means he reaches to scratch his nose or to stop something that is giving him pain. He has started to open his eyes but is not able to focus yet. These things show progress but there is a long way to go. Please continue to pray for his healing. There are no words to thank each and every one of you.
