Hello, my name is Chris. Just got out of hospital and now have COPD. Will be on an Oxygen tank 24/7. I was a heavy smoker (stopped 7 yrs ago), ran inside burning houses twice in my life to “help” but ended up needing help instead, dedicated most of my life fighting crime as a Guardian Angel - 1st Commander for Queens, NY. Never in my life, even when I was homeless have I asked nor begged for money. However, walking 5 steps leaves me faint & weak. For those that knows about this; it is and can be fatal. It’s my family I worry about. I was on the verge of opening up a Caregivers Referral Service but now, it will take long months to even breathe properly. I need help from my financial obligations. Just to get me by if I make it or not. I have life insurance and that now is hard to pay the premiums as well as rent and living expenses. Anything can help. I believe paying forward as I always have done will come back. From feeding the homeless and sacrificing/risking my well being is just a token and in my heart, there will now be many to help me back.
