NHS Interact Club Food Drive Fund

Hello and thank you for taking the time to read about this fundraiser! The Newburyport High School Interact Club is teaming up with the Newburyport Rotary Club to raise funds to support families in our community affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. 

If you are unfamiliar with the Interact Club we are a group of 80 Newburyport Highschool students that strongly believe in the power of community service. The Interact motto is "Service Above Self".  Pictured above is when we walked 20 miles in the 2019 Walk for Hunger fundraiser in Boston!


Pictured above is one of our members, Sam Cooper NHS 2021, who is loading up a carload of food to deliver to the Pettengill house.  Sam and his family began this food drive and we would like to continue his efforts!


The NHS Interact Club is connected to the Newburyport Rotary Club which runs several fund raisers throughout the year to help our community.  Pictured below is the Newburyport Rotary Club preparing dinner at the Salvation Army.  This is just one of the many ways the Newburyport Rotary Club lends a helping hand in our community.

As you know, many families in our community have been impacted financially by the virus and we would like to help!

We are raising funds for food donations for the Greater Newburyport Area.  All of the funds raised will go directly to the organizations in our community that  provide food security relief and support.  The Pettengill House, Our Neighbor's Table and the Salvation Army will all receive 100% of the funds we raise to help families in our community.  

We greatly appreciate your donation and we know the families will too! Let's bring our community together and offer peace of mind that everyone will have the nourishment they need.
