Clark the Super Kitty on Wheels

Our organization is T.A.A.G. (Transylvania Animal Alliance Group) and we want to tell you about one of our foster kittens. Clark came to us when he was about 4 weeks old from one of our local shelters. He had been injured and had lost the use of his back legs. He had no feeling in them at all. He made up for his injury with a major personality, everybody that met him wanted to help find a way to get him mobile. He was dragging himself everywhere with his legs trailing behind. We knew we had to get him in a more normal walking position so that his bones grew normally and he didn’t develop problems from dragging his back legs.
One big obstacle was finding a cart for such a small kitten. Unfortunately they just don’t make them that small and we couldn’t find anyone who could 3D print one in his size, he only weighed 10 ounces. So Clark's foster mom started researching how she could make a cart for Clark herself. About twenty attempts and a pair of wooden wheels later Clark had his cart and there has been no stopping him since. He doesn't think he has any limitations. He spends his time playing with the other foster kittens, toys, and shoes just like any other kitten. As he grows, his cart gets rebuilt and modified to help keep him upright and mobile.
Unfortunately, Clark has a few health problems that need to be addressed (a large non-umbilical hernia and blood in his urine are just a couple) and he will need to be evaluated by a specialist and will need surgery. We are asking for your help to raise the funds so we can provide the medical care that Clark needs so he can have the best possible life. Clark has all the heart and all the love of life of any other kitten.
