Newcomers Club of New Bern Bear

The current and past members of the Newcomers Club of New Bern, North Carolina and the Alumni Group of Newcomers (both founded by Sandie Swigart in 1987) are raising funds to have a Bear statue placed in Downtown New Bern to honor the club's history of helping newcomers to the community learn about their new home area, meet new friends and enjoy themselves.
