New well for our Curtis Township Library

Donation protected
Our rural library needs a new well which is costing us $8,666.
Our Small rural library was funded and built by the citizens of Glennie, Michigan. Retired Contractor Jerry Emerson and the men and the women of the community  built the building themselves. The library has striven to serve our small community in many ways with Wi-Fi 24/7 in a area that not everyone has or can afford internet access. The library provides 6 computers for patrons use, DVD's, books, meeting rooms. The library is the center of the community. The Library continues to serve the community even during the pandemic.
Now the library needs some help. This center of the community has run into a unexpected expense we had not budged for and is a crushing blow to our budget. Being a rural community our water supply is by a well and it has failed and needs replacement.  This $8,666 expense coming during the Covid-19 is even harder to deal with. We have  replaced the well thanks to Graves Well drilling but he knowing how hard it is for the library is giving us some time to raise money to pay the bill. If anybody can help us with our unexpected expense we would be very grateful as would our whole small community.
