New slide for the kids

**update. Chipping Norton Lido cannot accept the donations for a new slide and all donations have been requested to be refunded. Please do not donate further. The Lido will be issuing a statement on the slides future in the coming days**

Grew up in chippy and used the Lido frequently and really enjoyed the slide with friends as a kid. Later working as a lifeguard up the Lido for a couple of seasons. Although we moved out of chippy we always get a group of friends and visit the Lido each year. We visited this year to notice the slide had gone. Staff told us it broke and at a cost of £4k the charity hasn’t been able to replace as yet.

I am hoping that residents and ex residents that have enjoyed the pool over the years of chipping Norton could all donate whatever we can to get to the total or more and get a slide back at the pool.
