New Home for Disabled Father & Special Needs Son
Conway Cares is trying to raise money for David Booth, Jr. who is a physically disabled gentleman in our community of Conway, SC. His mobile home has been damaged beyond repair due to Hurricanes Matthew and Florence. We had the home inspected and it was deemed unsafe for him and his 21 year-old autistic son.
With your generous donations, we aim to purchase a used, but structurally sound, mobile home, as well as have city water lines run to it because his well is about dry. We would also like to furnish his new home with basic furniture that has been damaged or lost.
Mr. Booth is a very humble man and did not seek our help. His situation was submitted to us. He has been more than forthcoming and honest about his situation and finances. It would mean the world to him if we can provide him and his son a safe home, water lines, and furniture. When we asked Mr. Booth what he would like in a new home, he responded, "...nothing too big or fancy...just a safe place for me and my son."
Please consider helping Conway Cares raise the money needed to purchase Mr. Booth and his son a "new to them", safe home!
