On July 6th, Neville takes on a new role - a challenge he could not turn down. Testing his fitness in the boxing ring against a younger opponent. All for a good cause.
Fight For the Community III is a charity boxing event that helps raise funds for three local, charitable organizations: Ozanam House, Karis Support Society and Freedom’s Door. Proceeds will go towards exercise and rehabilitative programs for recovering addicts in our community. This marks the third year of this event, and more than $30,000 was raised in the first two years for our local recovery homes.
Each 'Three-Round Hero' is given a fundraising goal of $1500 and three months of boxing training at the Los Gatos Locos/Madkats Fitness and Boxing Centre.
On Saturday, July 6, at the Rutland Centennial Hall, you will have the once-in-a-lifetime chance to watch him battle it out in the ring. This year’s event fight card will feature eight to 10 charity fights, and then a similar number of amateur fights.
There is only one month of training to go, and your generosity would make this fight a success, win or lose!
