Dave’s House. San Carlos Park Florida.

Hi my name is Sheri. My elderly neighbor Dave, is in need of some help. He just returned from being hospitalized for 4 months. He has terminal COPD and is unable to care for himself. He does have a nurse who visits but he does not have basic necessities. His home does not have AC or working appliances. He has no garage door and uses a tarp to cover the entrance. This man needs our help. I’ve also put the word out and a group of great people are pulling together to lend a hand. His house is Dilapidated. It’s a semi hoarder situation and there’s no way that he can take care of this by himself. I hope we can come together and help this man.

Update. Dave is back in hospice. He will be brought back in 4 days. So far we’ve had the air conditioner repaired, appliances are being donated, yard is being overhauled, dumpster donated, cleaning crew being put together. This is a huge job. Thank you for the donations. So many amazing people are coming together. We’ve had the home pressure washed. We need a clean up crew for the inside. It’s a huge job. 

5/5 update   We will be starting on the outside and the garage tomorrow!! 8:30 am. We had an amazing turnout!! Thank you so much for everyone who came. Every single person who came today is an Angel. Fox News came and she was adorable❤️ We need volunteers. Anyone who is interested in participating, whether it’s to fill the dumpster, bring by some water, donate some lunch, bring some hand sanitizer, masks, gloves anything will help. Our crew is being led by Clarissa with Spaulding Devcon. They specialize in Hoarder situations. So safety is very important. Thank you all for helping Dave. I think we all are still trying to wrap our heads around how this could have gotten so bad. It’s only going to get better now. Update on Dave. He’s still fighting. Please pray for him. . More than anything we want Dave to be ok. I’m personally in Awe that this community has come together this way. This post started with… I’m just going to put this out there. And look!! We are all truly blessed to be a part of this community. Thank you all so much.
