Neighbor Home Repairs

I have a neighbor who has a debilitating disease and lives on a strict budget. The home is a vintage 80s Jim Walter home which is in disrepair. I am his neighbor and I have been taking care of him lately until another care giver can be found to help him. The home is in need of new flooring, trim, drywall repair, and painting. I am starting this go fund me account to purchase materials to get this house back to some sense of normalcy. I need your help. I am going to perform all the labor to make this happen ad will be starting some of the work in early October.  I will do this with or without your help somehow but sure would be nice to get help with materials. I would keep receipts if anyone doubts my character. Thank you.
