Friends and Family,

I’m thrilled to announce that I’ve been accepted into Class X of the Nehemiah Emerging Leaders Program, a selective 10-month professional development program designed to prepare emerging leaders, like myself, for ethical and effective leadership in our companies and communities. I couldn’t be more excited to be selected into this elite group of current and future community leaders and for what the next year has in store for me.

My employer, the Sacramento Metro Chamber, has been my strongest supporter in preparing me and providing me with the necessary time off to complete this program, but our funding for professional development like NELP is limited. After the accumulation of tuition, curriculum and events, I will need financial assistance.
