Need Wheels to Get to Work Not a Lyft

Carly Bayne is a smart, talented young woman going through a divorce in New York. She is struggling to keep a job due to transportation. Using Lyft, it costs over half a weekly paycheck. Carly needs money for a down payment on a car...and not a brand new car, either. These funds will go for the down payment and license/tags. The money saved from paying for Lyft rides will help pay for the car payments. She just needs the help getting started.

Carly is my daughter. She and I went through many hardships while she was growing up and I was going through a divorce. Everything was used and secondhand. We made it through without asking for handouts. Well, now I am asking for help to help her. She has a hard time handling the constant rejections from trying to get a vehicle the right way. She keeps hearing her credit isn't good enough or she hasn't been at her job long enough. She wants to be a French Teacher/Translator. She has been working at a gas station or call centers. She can't use her college training because she can't get to a job where she lives in Binghamton, New York.

I love my daughter and would appreciate some help getting her to the job she has dreamed of since the 8th grade. I am not in a position to give her the money she needs but I can offer her help this way.
