Hello,

I am creating a GoFundMe to help my sister with the funeral expenses for Neal. He passed away on August 30th, after many years of living with heart failure and going back and forth into the hospitals. Many of you may know that he was forced to retire early from the Department of NY Sanitation because of his health and has lived the last 7 years on Social Security Disability. Neal was always there to help his family and friends with all sorts of projects ranging from repairing snow blowers to cars, and boats, or even help with the garden! That was the type of person he was.

My sister and her kids are absolutely devastated by his passing and I am trying to help alleviate the added stress of her figuring out how to cover the cost of the funeral. Unfortunately, they were not prepared for this day. So, if you can, and you find it in your heart, any contribution you would be able to make would be very much appreciated.

Finances have been very difficult for my sister, and she works many hours of overtime to be able to cover her expenses. Now without Neal’s financial contributions, things will be that much more difficult for her.
