As a representative of Independence High school and the State of Arizona, I was given the opportunity to travel to Boston, Massachusetts and attend The Congress of Future Medical Leaders on June 24, 25, and 26. I am a junior in high school but I was identified through the College Board Student Search Service. In the congress I will meet Nobel Prize Winners, award-winning young inventors and scientists, medical school deans, leaders in medicine and medical futurist. In addition to this amazing opportunity, I will be able to witness a surgery and have the opportunity to submit questions for the surgeon to answer during the procedure. This opportunity will open my horizons in my education and one humongous leap to the world of medicine.
