Hi Friends of Erica Hill,

I just wanted to reach out to you all to see if you could lend a hand in a recent and sad, sensitive situation.

Erica's mother Robin just passed away after a battle with lung cancer. Many of you like myself know how devastating it is to lose a loved one especially to such a devastating disease and how helpless we as friends can feel on the sidelines only being able to offer some words of support. 

I think that we can provide something more substantive and wanted to start this campaign simply to make sure that Erica, while dealing with the death of her mother (which will require time away from work and among other things), does not have to worry about her rent or bills for her next rent cycle.
