Nato's Recovery Fund

Spende geschützt
Many of you have heard that our dear friend Natanael Alvarado (23, far right in the photo above), was hit by a drunk driver while walking along the road to his house Tuesday, July 21.  He was taken to the public hospital in Managua and remained on life support for 5 days.  The only injury reported was a traumatic brain injury.  A tracheotomy was put in to help clear his throat from phlegm build up.

Nato finally opened his eyes on Monday, almost a week after the accident and was able to give his family a sign that he was still there.

Yesterday, one week and one day after the accident Natanael was moved to his home where he will continue to recover.  The hospital said they wanted to move him out of the hospital quickly to avoid any contact with COVID-19 or other dangerous bacterias.  He still has the tracheotomy and a catheter and does not have the most basic bodily control.  He requires 100% care and assistance, which is creating a large financial burden on the family that doesn't have a lot extra.

The family has asked us to keep praying faithfully, believing God will heal Natanael to his health that he had a week and a half ago.  We would like to invite you to partner with us in prayer and by giving financially as FULL care and assistance does not come free.

Please direct any questions or inquiries about the fundraiser to Katie or Josh McGrew.
