Northern Agency Veterans Organization (NAVO) is reaching out to engage Diné Silent Warriors. They may be experiencing war-related traumas such as post-traumatic distress syndrome (PTDS), mental health issues, and physical disabilities. We intend to assist in making a connection for these veterans to improve their lives. We plan to reach these veterans in various ways by participating in a parade to welcome them home and developing veterans-specific stage exhibits and referral booths. Providing inspirational speakers and encouraging their participation in Western health care and cultural traditional healing practices.
