Welcome to the National Student Response Network (NSRN) GoFundMe page! As COVID-19 continues to spread across the US, hospitals and public health departments are faced with continual challenges in their responses. NSRN is a grassroots effort run by health professions students, including nursing, physician assistant, pharmacy and medical students, as well as graduate public health students. We aim to field the volunteer needs of hospitals and public health departments and match them with nearby health professions students who are eager to help their communities during this crisis.
From transporting hundreds of pounds of essential PPE, to COVID testing and contact tracing, our network of over 6,000 students has been working non-stop to ease the burdens of frontline workers during COVID-19. We have already had incredibly positive impacts on communities across the nation, with our work having been recognized by the Association of American Medical Colleges, CNN, and more. The demand for NSRN continues to increase with the recent spike in COVID cases, and we stand ready to grow and mobilize our network if called upon to aid in COVID vaccination efforts.
We require funding to support our current operations, and any funds raised beyond our goal will support further growth and expansion of our network. From software subscriptions to website management to messaging platforms, the success of NSRN depends on tools that enable us to seamlessly organize thousands of volunteers nation-wide. We need your support to help us continue mobilizing as efficiently as possible.
We are a federally recognized non-profit organization under IRS code 501(3)(c). The NSRN team is composed of volunteers, and we do not receive monetary compensation for our work with NSRN. All proceeds of this GoFundMe campaign will go directly towards running NSRN, and we are deeply grateful for any assistance that you can provide.
