Nathan Meister Eagle Project

Hello, my name is Nathan Meister. I am an 11th grader at Arlington High School, Arlington, TN and a Boy Scout in Troop 457. I am working towards my Eagle Scout rank. My final step in the journey is the completion of my Eagle Scout project which will be benefiting Shelby Gardens Place, a local retirement/nursing home. For my Eagle Scout project, we will be constructing 15 wooden birdhouses to be placed outside of residents’ windows for their viewing pleasure and entertainment. In addition to this we will be performing some landscaping maintenance around the property including removal of stumps and overgrown shrubs. We will plant mums in the areas where stumps will be removed. To carry out my project I am soliciting donations to fund the required materials for the project, approximately $600. Any financial assistance you are willing to provide will be greatly appreciated and I thank you in advance. Any surplus funds upon the completion of my project will be donated directly to Shelby Gardens for use as they see fit.
