Nate Runs to Get Clean Water for Nigeria

Who wants to join me in making a difference?

It's time for a comeback! It has been 5 years since I last ran a 100 mile ultramarathon, so I am running the Nanny Goat 100 mile race on May 28, 2022 to raise money for Partners for Water. Partners For Water is a U.S. based non-profit organization that facilitates water infrastructure projects in Nigeria. In Nigeria, 57 million people don't have access to safe water and almost 60,000 children under five years old die every year from diarrheal diseases caused by poor water and sanitation. IT’S TIME FOR A CHANGE!

Clean water changes the trajectory of so many who aren't blessed with it (the way we are). I am ecstatic and hopeful that my suffering during this 100 mile race will help end the suffering for so many in Nigeria.

My goal is to raise enough money to fund two borehole wells that will help provide clean water to about 1,000 people. I’m looking to raise $100 for every mile I run/walk/crawl, but no matter what, I will reach that 100 miles because what these people are living with everyday will continue to motivate and push me across the finish line.
