Along with a letter from the Queen marking her and her lates husbands 70th wedding anniversary. Vicki Yerby, 68, who is now semi-retired but cares for her 100 year old mother is financally on her own. She bought her home after years of hard work, working with children from the community.
Vicki and Nanny Lil have raised thousands of pounds for a SEND unit in St Marylebone School, Great Ormond Street Hospital and most lately, The NHS, have been left with “nothing”.
Insurance companies will not pay out due to it apparently being an “act of God”
Vicki who suffered with severe asthma has been told to stay out of her house due to the damage the damp will cause on her chest. The walls are cracked and the water has damaged the structure of the building. “It’s not about the material things” says Vicki. “My home is destroyed and falling apart”
Let’s give Vicki and Nanny Lil a kick start to rebuilding their home.
All donations will be shared with 8months pregnant family member who lives doors along and has been left with very little.
