House Fire Fund for Nancy Laverdiere - West Dennis

Hi. My name is Michelle Gregoire and I created this Go Fund Me account to help my very good friend Nancy Laverdiere who’s home in West Dennis, MA sustained heavy damage due to a electrical fire in the early morning hours of January 2, 2023.   She lost everything in the fire.  Fortunately, she was not home when the fire started but was at work on the overnight shift.  

Nancy is a hard working woman who also recently battled cancer and has been in remission for about 6 months now and this is the last thing she needed to have happen to her to start the new year.  She has been a dedicated nurse her entire life and has been working and living on Cape Cod for the past 23 years.  She is one of the most generous people I have ever known and always helps others in their time of need.  Now, she is in need and I had to do something to try to help her at this most difficult time.  

She was able to secure temporary housing but has lost everything and although she had some apartment insurance, it won’t cover even half of what she lost in the fire.   

Any amount you could donate to help Nancy rebuild her life would be greatly appreciated.  Please feel free to share this fundraiser with anyone you know that may be in a position to help this awesome gal get back on her feet.
