A genuine legend and highly respected leader in the Financial Services industry , Artie Pacheco, badly needs our support ,friendship and prayers.
Your past or present relationship with the industry undoubtedly evokes recall of the evolution of the Over-the Counter market into today's highly automated NASDAQ. During the early formative years of OTC , Artie distinguished himself as a solid leader of both the business and the people who were fortunate enough to work on "The Street."It was a true fraternity and exciting business with a generosity of spirit and giving to those in need.
If you were part of this band of brothers and sisters prior to the technological revolution, there is no need to tell you what an incredible time that was. It was as much a family as a business and guys like Artie played a leading roll in both. But the business and indeed life, as it inevitably does,moved on. Fortunately, though the industry as we knew it is gone, the memories it gave us are not. Though many friends and colleagues have found comfort in well earned retirements the relationships formed and forged endure. And so does the incredible generosity and heart that was always such a big part our fraternity.
So now we are once again being asked to show that generosity,but this time for the benefit of one of our brothers. Artie is in the fight of his medical life and he needs the support of the legions of friends whose lives he has touched over decades. His medical bills will be daunting. His ability to pay them seriously challenged during his recovery and rehabilitation. For those of us who were fortunate enough to have been a part of a business that was as much fun as it was rewarding, it's time to pay it forward with whatever support you can give and all the prayers you can muster. Please give what you can to help out one of the most kind and gracious men any of us will ever have the pleasure of knowing.
