Support the Employees at NAF! Salon
In light of all of the information surrounding the spread of Coronavirus, we made the truly difficult decision to cancel all of our appointments at NAF! Salon for the safety of our team, our clients and all of their families. Everything is very uncertain at the moment and we’re taking every day as it comes.
The Salon’s only income is from our services and cancelling appointments means we face uncertain times. We’re doing everything we can to make sure we can keep our team motivated and support them financially but the reality for salons (and most businesses) at the moment is that our insurance wont cover us, it’s devastating. We can only hope that the government will step in and help us to support our incredible, hardworking women at a time where social distancing means that they cannot safely do their job.
Talking about money makes people uncomfortable, but in the interest of transparency, our payroll alone is upwards of £20,000 per month (my wage or @nafstuff employees are not counted). We are in no way expecting to raise anything close to that amount, but lots of people have reached out to help out or pay for appointments so we thought we'd set this up. If we raise enough money to cover wages (or we are successful in recovering wage losses from the government) then all extra funds will go to a local charity helping people in need during the pandemic.
After contacting all of our clients about cancellations, lots of you mentioned that you’d like to help out, we have come up with three ways in which you can:

Every little helps, if we raise enough money to cover our loss of income (or we are successful in recovering wage losses from the government) then all extra funds will go to a local charity.
Again, we’re so thankful for your support. Once we’re back on our feet we’ll pay it forward in any way we can and we encourage anyone reading this that still has job security to donate to a business you care about too, it’ll mean the world to them.
We would like to thank all of our incredibly understanding clients and wonderfully supportive team for supporting us. Our salon is nothing without our loyal NAFIA.
