Help Myanmar Recover from the Devastating 7.7 Magnitude Earthquake

We are Burmese students from Saint Paul, Minnesota, raising urgent funds to support victims of the powerful 7.7 magnitude earthquake that struck Myanmar on March 28, 2025.

Thousands of buildings collapsed, including homes, schools, hospitals, and places of worship. We lost many of our most sacred heritage sites — ancient pagodas, temples, and churches — pieces of our culture and history that can never be replaced. Entire towns have been reduced to rubble.

Buildings have collapsed, homes are gone, and entire families are grieving. Many people are still missing or trapped under the rubble, while others are searching for loved ones with no way to reach help. Internet access is down in many areas, making communication and rescue efforts even harder.

Myanmar was already struggling — our healthcare system, emergency response, and infrastructure have been weakened by years of civil war, political unrest, and natural disasters. This earthquake has pushed an already suffering nation even further into crisis.

The death toll is rising. The pain is overwhelming. And yet, the world remains quiet.

We ask you — please, try to put yourself in our shoes.
