My super mom

Hello, my name is Anders and I live in Stockholm, Sweden.

I've created this donation and plan to dedicate all the funding received to my beloved mother who have worked for more than 40 years and is soon to be 60 years old.

She have always taken care of people around her all her life, from working as a care taking nurse to a respected correctional officer and finally a chief safety representative doing everything in her power to make sure her colleagues had as good as a work place as possible as well as coming home to their families every night safe and sound. She have also helped people during her spare time such as family friends suffering from alcoholism, drug abuse or a broken household economy among other things. She have always lent a helping hand to those in need.

She's done all this while being sick with debilitating health issues such as chronic fatigue syndrome, rheumatoid arthritis and polymyalgia rheumatica which are all chronic diseases. All of this combined have made it such a rare feat that she's gone through life working with a smile on her face despite her physical suffering as well as mental stress due to the symptoms. But as her son I know when she's putting on a brave face for everyone else, which has become a much more frequent occurrence unfortunately.

The reason I ask for financial donations to her is because I truly believe she deserves to live the rest of her life as carefree as possible, having sacrificed more than enough for this world already. She recently lost her job as chief safety representative due to internal corruption. She was seen as a liability due to not agreeing with certain terms that would have affected her coworkers negatively in the name of profit and was voted out with votes that were hired for this process alone. Her job was to make sure everyone, from cleaners to the CEO, had as good a work experience as possible.

This was deeply unfair to both her and everyone that depended on a highly skilled and compassionate chief safety representative.

Currently she gets a lower pension due to not reaching the pension age required for maximum pension payment and this makes her financial situation a struggle. Personally I do what I can to support her but the costs of living keeps rising and I do not get paid enough to fully support us both, we both cut the corners we can afford to cut.

The money this donation will receive will be 100% donated to my mother, none of it will go to me as I am still young enough to be able to work for my bread, but she is not in any physical shape to continue working. The goal of 1 million SEK is equal to about 94 thousand USD, which I believe would be enough for her remaining years of this life in combination with her pension. This would guarantee a decent life for her, a life which I feel she have earned, a life I regrettably can not provide for her on my own.

Donating to this cause would mean the world to me and my mother.
